She's scrappy, she wouldn't hold back if provoked. • injuries or death Talk to me first for both. • timeline Post-TV series, before the events of Dynamite 7 SHIPS • gamlin/mylene ✔ I'll be real, this ship is more of the exception rather than the rule. I'd love to explore their relationship years after Macross 7 for PSLs. • basara/mylene ✘ Gonna have to pass on this one, sorry. I wouldn't mind playing up Mylene's adolescent crush on him, but their dynamic to me feels more like friends who aren't afraid of dunking each other. • cross-macross ships ✘/✔ Depends who it's with to be honest, but generally if it works, then I don't see any reason why not! I prefer building up CR first however, so we'll have to see how it goes. But, anyone from the Jenius family is an automatic no. • crosscanon ✘/✔ Same deal as shipping her with Macross characters, I'm down to see whether the dynamic works or not. • older characters ✘✘✘ Mylene herself is probably fine with it, considering her canonical crush and love interest, but I'm not too comfortable with it because of how young she is. So, I'd rather avoid older characters altogether. If the character's older than 18 then it's a no. OPT-OUT Macross 7, for most part, is a lighthearted goofy series where the power of music can potentially end conflict and bring people together. However, it still does feature themes that can potentially be triggering. • death and violence The antagonists of the series, the Protodeviln, prey upon human-like species' will to ensure their own survival. This has lead to battles resulting in many casualties in the Protodeviln's quest for food. One incident, in particular, had Mylene come across several corpses in the second half of the story. She isn't going to bring up the deaths often, but it's a possibility when discussing the situation in her canon. • age gap relationships Aside from the fight against the Protodeviln, romance is a big aspect of the canon and the main love triangle involves a significant age gap. 14-year-old Mylene has a crush on Basara who's 7 years her senior, and she also grows serious feelings for 19-year-old Gamlin.
